SOC 437 SOC OF CHILD WELFARE SYSTEM

Seminar on the child welfare system. Seminar examining the child welfare system from a sociological lens. Course focuses on the U.S. foster care system and the adoption system in its various forms (e.g., international, transracial, foster-adoption, etc.). Special attention given to inequalities and disparities in these systems.
