GWS 302 SOCIAL MOVEMENT PRAXIS

A seminar examining the praxis (dynamic theory and practice) of social movements and consider activists' and organizers' motivations, goals, and efforts. Students will complete a study of a local grassroots community organization, engaging with one of these organizations for 2-3 hours per week outside of class.
