PHI 207 AMERICAN PHILOSOPHY
A study of the founders of American pragmatism (Peirce, James and Dewey) and the revival of this tradition by contemporary thinkers such as Richard Rorty, Hilary Putnam and Cornel West.
Registration Restrictions
Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have taken one course in philosophy (PHI 202 recommended); and to others with permission of the instructor.
