GOV 223 HUMAN RIGHTS AND MEDIA
Why does media coverage of human rights atrocities sometimes mobilize people to take action to stop them, while at other times it is met with indifference? Do different forms of media have a greater or lesser impact on mobilization? Examining a variety of media, this course examines the complicated relationship between mediated violence and mobilization to halt it.
