Directory Information
Directory information is treated as public information and is generally available for all current and former students at the College’s discretion. Directory information includes a student’s name, city of residence, county of residence, major and field of study, enrollment status (full-time, part-time, etc), degrees, awards, and date received, dates of attendance, participation in official sports and activities, height and weight of athletic team members. At its discretion, the College may release these items of information to any third party.
According to policy, the College will not release students’ educational records to anyone except certain organizations stipulated by the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) without the written consent of the students. Students who do not wish their directory information to be disclosed must file a written request with the Registrar. Questions concerning FERPA may be referred to the Registrar’s Office.
