EXS 430 Principles of Therapeutic Modalities and Exercise
This course introduces Exercise Science majors to the fundamental principles and applications of therapeutic modalities and therapeutic exercise in the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based selection and safe application of physical agents, as well as the design of basic rehabilitation and corrective exercise programs. Through lecture and lab integration, students will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to assist in clinical, fitness, or allied health settings.
