EE 453 Electric Motor Drives

Covers principles, analysis, and control of electric motor drives used in industrial and transportation systems. Emphasizes converter-motor interaction, dynamic modeling, and torque/speed control. Includes DC, induction, and synchronous motor drives with applications in automation and electric vehicles. Two hours lecture and two hours laboratory.
