EE 422 Embedded Computing Systems

This course introduces embedded computing system architecture, hardware/software integration, and real-time control. Topics include microcontrollers, memory organization, I/O interfacing, interrupts, timers, serial communication, and embedded C programming. Students design, program, and test embedded systems using modern development environments and hardware evaluation boards. Two hours lecture and two hours laboratory.
