EE 421 Power Electronics

Study of power semiconductor devices, converter topologies, and control of electric energy conversion. Topics include DC–DC, AC–DC, DC–AC, and AC–AC converters, PWM control, and applications in motor drives and renewable systems. Two hours lecture and two hours laboratory.
