EE 390 Electric System Design
Introduces students to the complete design and implementation of an Electrical System. Student teams will design, fabricate, and characterize a useful electronic circuit. Topics include amplifier architecture, feedback, distortion, thermal management, and protection systems. Students apply analog circuit theory and simulation tools to design, prototype, and test a high-fidelity amplifier that meets defined performance specifications. Emphasis is placed on engineering design methodology, system integration, measurement, and technical communication through a final project and report. Two hour lecture and two hour laboratory.
