CE 480 Water Resources Engineering
Watershed processes, precipitation-runoff relationships, design storms, infiltration methods, unit hydrographs, groundwater hydrology fundamentals, and hydrologic modeling techniques used for estimating floods and peak flows. Hydraulic applications include analysis and design of closed-conduit systems, and open-channel flow under subcritical and supercritical conditions, as well as storm drainage design. Two hours of lecture and two hours of lab per week.
