CE 354 Fluid Mechanics for CE

This course begins with the basic principles of fluid mechanics. This includes hydrostatic forces, kinematics of fluid motion, integral descriptions and the differential representation of the conservation of mass, momentum, and energy equations.  It then concludes with examinations of Bernoulli’s equation, dimensional analysis, viscous flow, frictional losses, and pipeline network analysis.  Three hours of lecture per week.
