The first digit indicates the year/level at which the course is offered:
1xxx Freshman prerequisite courses
2xxx Sophomore prerequisite courses
3xxx Junior BS Program
4xxx Senior BS Program
5xxx-8xxx Graduate and Professional level courses
9xxx Electives (undergraduate and graduate)
The second digit indicates the type of course:
x1xx General course
x2xx Diagnostic courses
x3xx Diagnostic/therapeutic courses
x4xx Therapeutic courses
x5xx Special topics courses
x8xx Clinic and clinical courses
x9xx Independent study
Note: In the following descriptions, commonly used abbreviations in reference to Bastyr programs include the following: acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM), midwifery/natural childbirth (MW), naturopathic medicine (ND) and nutrition (TR)
