SPCE 643 Expressive Language Instruction for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students

Explores instructional methods and strategies that foster development of expressive language (spoken, written, signed) for deaf and hard of hearing children and youth. Critical thinking will be used to construct resources and activities that reflect long- and short-term objectives for language and communication, including formal expressions, social exchanges, and language repair strategies.

Prerequisite: SPCE 640 and SPCE 641 with a minimum grade of B or better.
