ATHP 4310 Psychosocial Strategies and Referral

This course focuses on understanding the psychological and sociocultural factors relative to exercise, injury, inactivity, and rehabilitation following injury. Strategies for identifying problems, intervening, and making referral are presented. Performance issues, psychological disorders, and health/substance abuse concerns will be explored along with basic counseling skills.
