SPA 252 LATINO USA: US LATIN@ CULTURES

A presentation of the history and culture of Latino communities in the United States since the 1960s.  The course serves as an introduction to issues related to Latino/a lives in the contemporary United States.  Topics include, but are not limited to race, Latina/o identity formation, social class, gender/sexuality, immigration, social justice, and inequality.
