PHI 440V HUME

A close study of the major works of David Hume (1711-1776), one of the most radical and subversive thinkers of the Western tradition. The objective of the course is to develop a systematic understanding of the different aspects of Hume's work, including his skepticism, naturalism, empiricism, and moral and political philosophy, as well as his views on religion.
