MUS E220D JAZZ ENSEMBLE
The Connecticut College Jazz Ensemble performs jazz repertoire covering a variety of styles and periods. Two rehearsals weekly. One major and one shared concert each semester. Open by audition; regular attendance and practicing required.
Notes
One semester-hour credit per semester (pass/not passed). For restrictions on the number of one-semester-hour courses that may be counted toward the degree, see the catalog. May be repeated for credit. This is the same course as MUS 220D.
Prerequisite
Ability to read musical notation (including jazz chord symbols) and ability to improvise.
Registration Restrictions
Open by audition; regular attendance and practicing required.
