LA 102 HOW COLLEGE WORKS

An exploration of the overarching question “how does college work”?  The objective of this class is to make the “hidden curriculum” of college clear and explicit, so that students can navigate some of the most challenging aspects of the higher educational experience.  Through group bonding activities and reflection exercises, students will collectively create a supportive atmosphere for learning and growing.  Guest speakers will facilitate discussions on cultivating resilience and confidence as a first-generation student and/or student of color.
