HMD 250 BASIC APPLIED STATS ANALYSES

Engagement in research, data analysis, and presentations about perceptions and misperceptions of the social and personality behavior of urban families.  Students will work with an SPSS data set to complete basic data analyses such as frequency distributions, correlations, and t-tests, while also interpreting and presenting the results.  Of particular interest to those eventually pursuing graduate school, social services, or teaching professions, and those interested in the complexity of diversity issues among real-life practitioners.
