Theory and research on development and learning during early childhood with particular reference to the role of home, school, community and other learning environments for children, including those with diverse backgrounds and abilities and application of this theory and research through participation (observation, interactions, and assigned quasi-experiments) at the Connecticut College Child Development Lab School.
