FYS 1076 PERSP ON EQUALITY AND EQUITY

This seminar focuses on how equality and equity affect our communities, our environment, our lives, our sense of belonging, and our overall well-being. Students will explore tools to describe inequities, study them through a variety of perspectives, and begin to propose solutions. Students will have the opportunity to think critically and examine their own place and role in the community and the world. They will be expected to collaborate and engage with classmates and peers from a different country using online tools. The seminar aims to enhance students' intercultural communication skills and to prepare them to be successful in today’s culturally diverse workforce and global economy.
