FYS 1066 BAD IMMIGRANTS!

Good immigrants go to medical school; bad immigrants go everywhere.  This course explores cultural production by immigrants and about them (by their children).  Genres include novels, short stories, poetry, food writing, stand-up comedy, and films.  Authors may include Margaret Cho, Edwidge Danticat, Aleksandar Hemon, R. Zamora Linmark, and José Olivarez.
