FYS 1053 THE POWER OF OUR STORIES

The Power of Our Stories: Exploring, Engaging, and Experiencing “Self”  This seminar will introduce students to the power of personal stories and lived experience through the use of autoethnography. Grounded within a resistance-based discourse, students will be introduced to queer, indigenous, and feminist theory through autoethnography, which aims to address issues of social justice, visibility, identity, and how the personal is political.
