FYS 1034 EXAMINING THE INNER LIFE

In a world dominated by cell phones and social media, it is increasingly difficult to preserve the private personality.  This course focuses on the inner world of memories, dreams, daydreams, solitude in nature, and prayer.  It examines how psychologists, neuroscientists, artists, and writers have studied and embraced our inner lives. Creative engagement with students' own inner life will be encouraged.
