FYS 1031 COLLABORATION/ARTS & BEYOND

This seminar explores the range of possibilities that emerge when people work together. Grounded in music and dance making, students will examine models for collaboration; learn about successful collaborators and their work; and explore collaborating through dancing, music making, reading, discussion, and more. Students will collaborate with classmates to create their own performance projects and will research and write about collaboration in other fields based on their interests. Prior experience in the performing arts is not required.
