FYS 1013 WITCHES/WEIRDNESS & WONDER

An introduction to the imagination of symbolic order and chaos in German literature and popular culture.  We will trace stories of witches and wonders in Grimm′s fairy tales, works by Kafka, Hesse, and others, and in contemporary film and media productions.
