The Biden Presidency: Confronting the Midterm Elections In this first year of his presidency, Biden must build a presidential administration, balance domestic and foreign policy initiatives, invigorate legislative relationships, and vet judicial nominees. And President Biden must do this despite deep divides within and between the political parties. In this seminar, students will delineate and assess Biden’s governing strategies, while anticipating the 2022 midterm elections. How successful is President Biden by executive, policy, electoral, and constitutional standards?
