FYS 1083 GREENING THE CAMPUS

Greening the Campus: Differing Ways Colleges are Responding to the Climate Crisis.  For almost two decades, colleges and universities have pledged to make sustainability a priority for their operations and student education. In that time, many sustainability offices have been established, carbon neutrality and zero waste goals have been established, and new courses have been developed. Using Connecticut College and peer institutions as case studies, students will investigate what progress has been made, what has been left out, and what the future is for campus sustainability as the climate crisis becomes more urgent.
