FLM 395C CONSTRUCTING THE DOCUMENTARY

The course explores the countless ways the world around us is recorded and portrayed in moving image media. Students will study and analyze classic and contemporary issues in nonfiction cinema through weekly film screenings and discussions, with a special emphasis on editing techniques, as they create one short documentary project.
