Special Topics in Fiction: Writing Long Fiction
In this workshop and craft-based reading class, students will consider the craft of longer-form fiction. We will read examples of the novella, novel, and excerpts thereof, in preparation to write either a novella or sections of a novel. Attention to revision. Writers may include Sigrid Nunez, Claire Keegan, Roberto Bolaño, and many others.
Prerequisite
A previous course in fiction writing.
