ECO 356 ECONOMETRICS AND CAUSALITY

An exploration of the use of causal thinking in econometrics to draw conclusions from data. Students will employ advanced methods for causal inference in empirical economics research and apply these techniques to real-world data. The course requires an empirical project that utilizes at least one of these econometric methods. Strongly recommended for students who will enroll in Individual/Honors Study or pursue a post-baccalaureate degree in economics, public policy, or related social science.
