CA 491 INDIVIDUAL STUDY

A two credit Individual study in Community Action pairs a student with a faculty/staff member of the Holleran Center to enhance their understanding of a particular social issue/problem that affects different types of communities. A four credit individual study pairs a student with a faculty member of the Holleran Center to actively engage in any form of civic engagement in either New London or a community of their choice. The course will require assigned readings and reflections to be included in an eportfolio. An additional writing assignment will be required to be designed by the student in collaboration with the faculty member.
