ART 200A DARKROOM PHOTOGRAPHY
An introduction to chemical darkroom photographic processes, including film loading, image composition and capture using a 35mm SLR camera, film development, enlarging/printing, and editing. Historic and contemporary approaches and concepts will frame projects and discussion, providing students with diverse examples of photographic practices.
Notes
A few 35mm film cameras are available to borrow. Thus, students are encouraged to provide their own 35mm film camera if possible. All students must purchase other required supplies.
Prerequisite
Any 100-level art course or permission of the Instructor.
