FLM 230 FILM CENSORSHIP IN THE U.S.

A study of film history through the lens of U.S. censorship practices from the beginning of the sound era through today. By incorporating primary sources such as contemporary reviews and original trailers, the course examines trends in censorship and Hollywood’s relationship to reigning political agendas.
