ECO 450 MONEY, BANKING & FED CHALLENGE

A course designed to prepare students for the College Fed Challenge, a competition organized by the Federal Reserve System for which students have to prepare a presentation on a monetary policy briefing. The course exposes students to macroeconomic and monetary economics concepts with a special emphasis on the conduct of monetary policy. During the semester, students will read articles, write policy briefings, and make policy-oriented presentations.
