GOV 257 ANALYSIS OF U.S. PUBLIC POLICY

This course explores the interaction between public policy, democratic politics, and social inequalities in the United States today.  The course is designed around several policy case studies and will offer a careful examination of the U.S. policymaking process, theoretical frameworks, and tools for evaluating policy outcomes. The course challenges students to develop a clear position on how we should evaluate and understand current public policy in relation to democracy and social inequality.
