EDU 225 CURRICULUM & ASSESSMENT:SEC

  • Students will engage in a historical, structural analysis of U.S. curriculum/assessment policies and how they have varied in their answer to the question of “What is the purpose of learning?” for differentially positioned youths. In doing so, they will generatively leverage educational theory, primary sources, and personal experiences to help contextualize the terrain within which we are building our capacity to be justice-oriented/liberatory educators.
