THE 244 LIGHT: INTENSITY AND TIMING

An exploration of the physiological and psychological effects of light. Students will engage with how decisions regarding things such as contrast, color, intensity, and timing can alter an audience's experience of performance, text, and music. Students will engage with analysis, conceptualization, and creativity while examining lighting design across the media of theater, dance, opera, and concerts.
