EDU 360 CC: COLONIALISM,MATH,CURRICULA

This course merges mathematics with critical educational studies, anti-colonial, and anti-racist thought. It examines the development of Western Mathematics and its connection to the logics of Anglo-imperialism and settler colonialism, which are at the core of our intertwined human and ecological crises. Via historical and philosophical inquiries into current mathematics curricula, students will evaluate, create, edit, and adapt K-8 math units.
