Anthropology Minor

Requirements

The anthropology minor consists of six courses: two required courses, and four additional courses, including one at the 200 level, one at the 300 level, one at the 400 level, and one additional course at any level.  The department strongly encourages anthropology minors to take ANT 297 (2 credits) during the semester prior to studying away, and ANT 298 (2 credits) during the semester immediately following their semester abroad.  Combined, the two seminars can satisfy one 200-level course requirement for the minor.

A maximum of two anthropology courses taken abroad can be applied to the minor upon approval by the chair of the department.
