MATH 3333 Application of Statistical Methods
This three-hour course covers parametric and non-parametric statistical methods, inference for means, medians, variances, proportions, and counts. Strategies for using graphical and statistical analysis to solve practical problems and principles of experimental design are presented In this class students will learn to use a variety of software packages, which may include R, Minitab, JMP, SAS and/or SPSS. This course may not count toward a BS in Statistics.
Prerequisite
An introductory probability and statistics course, such as MATH 2303, or equivalent, with a C or better or permission from the instructor
