ENGL 2311 World Literature for English Majors

Part of the UIW Core Curriculum, this course focuses on close reading and discussion of texts of all kinds from a wide range of periods and societies to reveal the diversity of literature as a means of cultural statement and to sharpen students' analytical and critical thinking skills.  This is course is required for declared English majors.  Can be taken simultaneously with ENGL 2360.
