SIR GAWAIN & THE GREEN KNIGHT
This course offers a slow, intense reading of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight in the original Middle English (about 100 lines per class meeting) with the help of detailed glossaries and Modern English translations. Some exposure to secondary scholarship.
Prerequisite
Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. For sophomores, ENG 250 is strongly recommended.
