CLA 276 ANCIENT ENVIRONMENTS

Much as in recent times, the ways in which the ancient Greeks and Romans viewed, interpreted, and interacted with their environments were complex and changed significantly over time. Students will explore these issues through ancient accounts, modern research, and a series of case studies focused on various regions and eras, from Greek Egypt to Roman Britain.
