CLA 122F MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY FROM GREEK

A systematic study of the ancient Greek roots of modern medical terminology.  Through linguistic analysis students will gain a working knowledge of how modern medical and scientific terms are constructed from ancient Greek and learn how to deconstruct terms to understand their meaning.  No prior knowledge of ancient Greek is required.
