ASL 102 ELEM AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE II

A continuation of the study of American Sign Language, focusing on the acquisition of grammar and vocabulary.  Emphasis on use of the language in class to improve students' conversational abilities.  The course includes ethnographic and analytical readings related to culture, linguistics, and interpretation in the American deaf community.
