Sociology Minor

Requirements

The minor consists of five courses in sociology:

SOC 101	SOCIETY AND YOU	4
	or
SOC 103	INTRODUCTION TO SOCIOLOGY	4
SOC 325	FOUND/DEVELOP SOC THEORY	4
	or
SOC 354	METH SOCIAL RESEARCH/ANALY	4

Students may take either SOC 101 or SOC 103 as an entry into the minor and as the prerequisite for all other courses.

Of the three remaining sociology courses:

1) at least two must be at the 200 level or higher; and of these two, at least one must be a 400-level course other than SOC 491, 492, 493, 494, 497, or 498.

2) no more than one may come from SOC 180, SOC 326, or SOC 326.
