ES 100D INTRO TO ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
CLIMATE THROUGH THE AGE. Earth’s climate fluctuated naturally for millions of years, and more recently as a result of human activities. This course investigates the reconstruction of past climates based on geologic evidence, and the science of climate change prediction. Topics include variations in global circulation patterns, past glacial periods, paleoclimate indicators, and modern global climate change.
Notes
Students may not receive credit both for this course and for any other section of ES 100.
