FYS 101E UNCOMMON SENSE

Philosophers are often very smart but also often end up saying extremely strange things--and not just saying them, but then providing powerful arguments that these strange things are true. This course introduces students to philosophy by means of some of these ideas, and just might end up convincing them that little of what they believe about the world, with their common sense, is actually true.
